The Lake Wylie Chargers swim teams continued their strong start to the 2026 season Thursday, September 3, putting together another impressive meet and showing the depth and competitiveness that have quickly become hallmarks of the program. The Lake Wylie boys improved to 4-0 on the season, earning a pair of dominant victories during the meet. The Chargers defeated Clover 126-19, followed by a 137-19 victory over Westminster Catawba. Lake Wylie also posted a 137-16 win over Riverwalk and finished the day with a 105-65 victory over Fort Mill. The Lake Wylie girls moved to 3-1 on the season, continuing to battle and compete across each event. The Chargers defeated Clover 120-44, Westminster Catawba 133-27, and Riverwalk 137-9. Lake Wylie also faced a strong Fort Mill squad during the meet. The results reflect the continued growth of both Charger squads as they build momentum early in the season. Strong performances across individual events and relays helped Lake Wylie establish control throughout the meet while showcasing the team's depth from top to bottom. With the boys now sitting at 4-0 and the girls at 3-1, the Chargers have established themselves as a competitive force in the early-season swim landscape.
